Today is Cinco de Julio...and sadly no one really cares. The big commotion took place yesterday, as the 4th of July fireworks shows were alive and well across the country. But I am posting this picture of Crystal, Jaclyn and Amy to recall the party we all hosted in Polanco, Mexico City two months ago. La Batalla was a party hosted by expats living in Mexico City to teach the locals how they should really celebrate Cinco de Mayo. In this case, this picture is also very fitting because Crystal and Amy will be arriving in Los Angeles this Thursday. Jaclyn is still holding on to Austin...but maybe sooner rather than later my old flatmate will awaken and see the light...and convince her to keep heading West...to the land of Golden California! Just follow the Sun until it hits the blue Pacific!
