Pura Vida - Costa Rican Detour

Yes, this blog is primarily about my experience as a Fulbright student in Mexico City, aka as Tenochtitlan.
But I could not pass up the Costa Rican detour I experienced last August.
If you have been to CR before, then you know what pura vida represents for that country. Pura vida is like having an internal and private live performance of Carlos Santana's Oye Como Va as you traverse through the Central American jungles, the Pacific beaches and the island-like towns of this amazing ecological jewel - Costa Rica.
So, please excuse the pics and before you know it, this blog will return to its regularly scheduled programming about Mexico City and my excursions in and around it.
