Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca is quite possibly one of the most dangerous beaches for surfers, swimmers and anyone else looking to do something by the water. The surf is very rough, and only experienced surfers should brave this part of the Mexican coast. Despite the risks, many young tourists flock to Zicatela beach year round. On the lower right hand corner of this picture, you can see the sculpture of two hands reaching towards the sky. Puerto Escondido is about a 4 hour drive from Acapulco, Guerrero.
