Well, for those of us looking for a parking space in some Mexico City supermarkets, we had to drive another lap because the best spots were reserved for mothers-to-be. This outright preference for pregnant customers is one way to signal and promote fertility, maternity and family growth. Even disabled folks take a back seat to pregnant mothers south of the border.
