When I returned from Mexico City, I drove into California on July 3rd...just barely making it to the Rose Bowl fireworks show on the 4th. It was nice to be back, enjoying the swell Southern Cali weather, the chill music and the company of great friends. Frankie and Ben had the spot picked out for the rest of us. Tailgating at the Rose Bowl doesn't get any better...well, actually it does; when UCLA not only plays USC, but also beats them! Go Bruins!
